When laying thin-walled stainless steel pipes, they should be installed after the civil works are finished. Before installation, first check whether the position of the reserved hole is correct.

When laying thin-walled stainless steel pipes, the distance between fixed supports should not be greater than 15mm. The distance between fixed supports for hot water pipes should be determined according to the amount of pipeline thermal expansion and allowable compensation for expansion joints. The fixed support should be set at the variable diameter, branch, interface and both sides of the bearing wall and floor slab. The installation of the movable support for thin-walled stainless steel pipes should meet the requirements of design specifications and drawings.

Metal pipe clamps or hangers should be used to fix thin-walled stainless steel pipes at the water supply hydrants and water distribution points; the pipe clamps or hangers should be set at a distance of 40-80mm from the fittings.

When laying thin-walled stainless steel pipes, casing pipes should be installed when the pipes pass through the floor. Plastic pipes should be used for casing pipes; metal casing pipes should be used when crossing the roof. The casing pipes should be 50mm higher than the roof and the ground, and strict waterproof measures should be taken.

For concealed pipelines, pressure test and concealed acceptance records shall be made before sealing. After the pressure test is qualified and anti-corrosion protection measures are taken, M7.5 cement mortar can be used for filling.

When laying thin-walled stainless steel pipes, there must be no axial bending and distortion when laying pipes, and no compulsory correction is allowed when crossing walls or floors. When parallel to other pipelines, the protection distance should be reserved as required. When the design is not specified, the clear distance should not be less than 100mm. When the pipes are parallel, the thin-walled stainless steel pipe in the pipe trench should be arranged on the inner side of the galvanized steel pipe.
